Head of Embedded Solutions Department
Overview
PSA is looking for a Head of Embedded Solutions Department with strong leadership skills and strong knowledge of firmware/hardware development processes to coordinate and lead a number of projects with US-based customers.
Requirements
- Background in firmware/hardware development preferably with C/C++ embedded programming (RTOS, linux, multithreading, low-level interfaces);
- Proven experience in full cycle hardware/firmware projects (requirements gathering-design-hardware-firmware-bring up-delivery-transition to production-support);
- Team leadership skills;
- Requirements definition and clarification experience;
- Ability to perform hardware/firmware review and analysis;
- Analytical mindset;
- Ability for business trips and work directly with customers onsite;
- Strong verbal and written English.
Desired
- Pre-sales and estimation experience;
- Team/group/department management experience;
- Embedded Linux experience;
- Embedded Qt experience;
- Knowledge of VHDL / Verilog, CPLDs;
- Experience of working with US-based customers;
- Experience with subordinates mentoring.
