Head of QA Department
Overview
We are interested in a real leader and a self-starter capable of problem solving to take up the role of Head of QA Department.
Required Skills
- 6+ years of experience in QA and QC;
- Experience in management of QA teams;
- Experience in functional and non-functional testing of embedded software and desktop, web, mobile applications;
- Knowledge of testing methodologies and understanding of software development process;
- Ability to create quality test documentation (test-plans, test-cases, test-reports);
- Experience with defect management systems and management of test-cases;
- Strong English skills - both verbal and written;
- Experience in organizing a training system, transferring knowledge within the department, mentoring.
Desired
- Experience with Linux platforms;
- Experience in automated testing and knowledge of automation and CI tools (Selenium, Appium, Jmeter, Postman, Jenkins etc.);
- Ability to do international travel;
- Knowledge of low-level programming languages (C\C++);
- Create and support a good rapport inside QA team and across other departments. Be a teamplayer.
You will be responsible for
- Managing the QA Department; training, motivating, coaching, and correcting employees to ensure that standards are met;
- Ensure a safe and healthy work environment;
- Review, design, implement, and improve company quality processes;
- Create reports to track progress;
- Supporting Sales in the requests estimation;
- Leading ISO certification process and all related activities.
