Rail System Development Overview
Back Office

PSA has a rich experience in developing Railroad Back Office integrated signaling and control solutions which are at the heart of many of the world's major transport networks. The solutions we create are in use by city transport systems as well as in large continent-wide networks. More

PSA also has expertise in the development of the interlocking control systems which are multi-purpose monitoring and control systems for railroad and rail mass transit wayside interlocking equipment. More

PSA has expertise in the development and integration of Public Address/Visual Messaging Systems (PA/VMS) to provide train arrival information for publication to all of the stations deployed along the rail network infrastructure. More

In-Cab Systems

The cab of the train houses the conductor and their console/control stand. This console can display information such as speed, condition of the brakes and motor, as well as house the GPS tracking system and network to allow for communications between the cab and the back office, wayside and platform. More

Project Image The primary objective of Train Control / SCADA System Testing project was to provide the customer with Software Verification and Validation (V&V) services for Train Control / SCADA system.
Project Image Professional Software Associates, Inc. has performed development of several subsystems of a Computer Aided Dispatching system for freight railroads which allows planning and controlling movements of the trains. This system allows dispatchers to easily track and control the status of trains, tracks, and field units being dispatched.
Project Image The primary objective for Data Exchange Implementation project was to develop a new interface for freight railroad dispatching software which allows sending and receiving operational data from the dispatching application to an external system.
Project Image The primary objective for Railroad Simulation Implementation project was to develop the simulation environment imitating different railroad objects for testing of a heavy rail Computer-Aided Dispatching system and for dispatcher training.
